About Us

Kalim Bechara Art Gallery is dedicated to presenting modern and contemporary art from across the Arab world. Working at the intersection of regional heritage and global discourse, the gallery champions artists whose practices engage with evolving cultural narratives, material experimentation, and critical inquiry.

Founded and directed by Lebanese curator and collector Kalim Bechara, the gallery operates from its showroom in Downtown Beirut. Established in 2021 with its first space in Hamra, the gallery expanded in 2025 to a larger location in Downtown, reflecting its growing international engagement and expanding roster. In addition to its Beirut base, the gallery maintains offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Cairo, supporting its regional network of artists, collectors, and institutional partners.

Through a dynamic exhibition program, Kalim Bechara Art Gallery supports both emerging voices and established Arab artists, fostering dialogue between generations and across the region. The gallery is committed to positioning Arab contemporary art within the global art ecosystem while maintaining a strong connection to its local cultural context.
